International Women`s Day 2025
✨ This International Women's Day, we are celebrating the women who are pushing the boundaries of science and innovation.
As 2025 is also the International Year of Quantum Science and Technology, we are focusing on a female quantum scientist from our network on this day: Prof. Andrea Hofmann from the Department of Physics at the University of Basel. She talks about her research on transport in semiconductors – which serves to realize qubits and also requires a whole lot of “nano”.
