Looking back on our Annual Meeting

Two and a half inspiring and eventful days have come to an end!

Our Annual Meeting offered fascinating insights into the diverse fields of nanoscience represented across our network, inspiring talks, stimulating conversations and plenty of time for networking and discussion. And with the Lab Qlympics, there was certainly no shortage of fun!

A big thank you to all our speakers, who did an excellent job of engaging with the interdisciplinary audience and providing valuable impulses through their exciting presentations. We would also like to thank all participants for their questions, ideas and active contributions to the many discussions.

A particular highlight was the celebration of our new Honorary Member Alex Hürzeler. During his 16 years as a Regierungsrat in the Canton of Aargau, he has been a strong supporter of the SNI and nanoscience, making a lasting contribution to their development.

Congratulations to Evangelia Liari, winner of the Best Poster Award, and Isabelle Imhof, winner of the Best Talk Award! Both awards are a great recognition of the outstanding posters and presentations presented by our doctoral researchers.

We are already looking forward to the Annual Meeting in 2027 that takes place from 15 to 17 September! Save the date!
